OUTFIT OF THE DAY: 1/6/12
Hey guys!! Today was an awesome day, because I went shopping in Georgetown (in Washington DC) with my friend Robin! This is what I wore to bop around town on this beautiful friday :)
I’m not going to go super in-depth with everything I’m wearing today, just because I don’t have that much time. Sorry guys but I hope you still enjoy!
I’m wearing the purple knit infinity scarf that i wore a few days ago, a huge favorite of mine!! I tend to wear it a lot. On top I’m wearing a charcoal grey waffle knit sweater from Old Navy, with an old Gap denim jacket over it.
On the botton, I’m wearing a pair of plain black shorts from Target over medium grey tights, also from target! I loooove the shorts over tights style this winter, I think it’s super cute!
On my feet I’m wearing brown lace-up heeled boots from DSW, with some cute knee socks tucked into them! These are my favorite boots EVER, I wear them so often because they are just… so… AH!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: 1/5/12
Today’s outfit was inspired by the fact that I actually left my house today! Yay progress!!! I wore this out to go ice skating with my sister and then to dinner with my friend John, so comfy casual as per usual.
I actually don’t remember where I got a lot of the pieces that I’m wearing today, such as the scarf and the shirt, but I’m going to do my best to tell you about the rest!
Sweater: Vintage-looking thick cardigan from Ross. I’m not completely sure of the price, but I think it was around $48 (I know that sounds like a lot, but it’s really giid quality and was originally between $100 and $200 since it is a brand similar to free people). I think this sweater is really interesting, with the different likking front and back, and the way that it is fitted so nicely. It may look somewhat grandma-ish, but I love it!
Jeans: Dark wash abercrombie kids skinny jeans, $50. You can see them here. Like I said in a previous post, I wear a size 16 in kids jeans, and they fit me perfectly! I also got this pair with my ripped pair on black friday, so they were a steal at $25! These are easily my favorite pair of jeans. Oh and if you were wondering, the belt that I’m wearing came with a dress that I got from Forever 21.
Gloves: I got these super cute fingerless gloves in the Junior’s department of Nordstrom for $6! You can see them here! I seriously love these gloves. So cute for the cold winter days ahead.
Shoes and Socks: I’m wearing black knee socks with golden sparkles from Gap tucked into my cherry red uggs! I really like to wear uggs when I go skating, because my feet get really uncomfortable after skating so it’s nice to slip into comfy shoes after! I don’t think they sell my socks any more, but you can see my uggs here! Apparently they don’t sell the red ones anymore though?! Lame. But yeah, they’re kids uggs, and I wear a size 5 :)

So. I haven’t been on here since monday… WANNA KNOW WHY? DO YA? DO YA?
Spoiler alert: It’s because I’ve been wearing pajamas for the past two days.
(Side note: if you want to see where I got my pajama’s, you can check them out here! They’re from aerie and they are so comfy!!! I wear a size small in the pants and medium in the top, because it fit pretty tight and who wants a pj shirt that makes you look fat?! Also, they were on super super sale., like 40% off of the clearance price!)
But yeah. In the past two days, I’ve only been out of the house to go to the dentist (yesterday) which HURT LIKE A BITCH BTW, meet my mom at panera for lunch (yesterday), and drive my sister to and from math tutoring (today, but each trip in the car took approximately 2.5 minutes. So, what have I been doing whilst at home, you may ask? Well. I’ve been doing three things. Eating, sleeping, and watching How I Met Your Mother (which I am not on season 5 of HELL YES!). Also, I haven’t had any social interaction from anyone my age since saturday. So that’s my life currently…. I haven’t worn anything besides pajamas and sweatpants since monday. Which is why there hasn’t been an OOTD. I apologize.
But the reason that I’m writing this blog post is not to tell you all about my lame past two days that I’ve had. The reason that I’m making this blog post is to show you the Steve Madden slipper boots that I got for Hanukkah!!

The sweater slipper trend is really big this year, similar to the moccasin trend from a few years back. You can literally find them in any store, whether it be Urban Outfitters ($25), Old Navy ($8, and so many different patterns!), Target ($16), or Forever 21 ($13). The best part is, they are so comfy and cute! Perfect for staying warm in the winter, they are like walking on a super cozy cloud.
So yep. That’s what I wanted to talk about today tumblr. My life, and my comfy slippers. TTYL and stuff!!!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: 1/2/12
Today I literally woke up at noon, and all I did today was go to target. Soooo this outfit is pretty much just comfy and cute! Hope you enjoy :)
Scarf: Purple waffle knit infinity scarf from Forever 21. I looove this scarf, I wear it all the time! I’m pretty sure it was under $10, but I can’t seem to find it on the Forever 21 website… *grumble grumble*
Shirt: Heather Gray long sleeve scoop neck shirt from Ralph Lauren Sport. Just a plain long sleeve shirt that I stole from my mom… Thanks Mom! I promise I’ll give it back! But yeah I don’t know the price because it’s my mom’s. Yep.
Jeans: Ripped medium wash skinny jeans from Abercrombie Kids! I love these jeans, I wear a size 16 since they are technically kids jeans haha, but they’re super cute and comfortable! They were originally $50, but I bought them on black friday so they were 50% off…. $25 for abercrombie jeans! A total steal. You can buy them here. (also they’re having a 40% off sale today, with 50% off hoodies and sweatpants. I have their classic banded and skinny sweatpants, and they are so wonderful! so if you’re interested, GO GO GO!)
Shoes: Ahhh, the moment you’ve all been waiting for… THE SHOES! I literally had a seizure when I saw these (okay, maybe not literally. I git these multi-colored pointy-toe sparkly flats at Old Navy! I know, something this super cute from Old Navy?! Almost unheard of. They are $25, and you can buy them here. Also, everything at Old Navy is 15% off today!
